The Philanthropy Observatory, in collaboration with the Fondation de France’s Disability Programme, presents an overview of French foundations working in the field of disability. Based on a survey of 103 foundations, this study looks at the commitment and working methods of these organisations, which operate in a relatively young sector predominantly focused on distributing funds and that is diversifying to adapt to different forms of disability. Nearly 60% of the disability-focused foundations established since 2000 were set up by companies.
