Fundraising in more than

20 countries

Helping you raise funds abroad

Drawing on its experience and unique expertise and thanks to its international network and local partners, Fondation de France contributes to the development of increasingly agile and innovative cross-border philanthropy. To support all those wishing to take action, it is now the gateway for all donors based abroad who want to support public-interest projects in France.

Cross-border philanthropy allows:

  • Public interest players (foundations, associations, cultural, scientific or higher education institutions) to diversify their international fundraising strategies and implement concrete action plans. To avoid the administrative and legal burden of setting up a local structure, Fondation de France offers these players tools to mobilise donors seamlessly and securely.

  • Donors living abroad to make donations to support charitable organisations in France, easily and with complete confidence. They will benefit from the tax deductions applicable in the country where they are based and, if they wish, can receive personalised advice on how to direct their donation towards the causes that are close to their hearts.

The benefits of joining Cross-border philanthropy:

  • Easy fundraising (no need to set up a local structure, administrative costs covered, issuing of tax receipts, transfer of donations).
  • No fixed fees: the amount of the fees depends on the amount raised and the percentage decreases rapidly.
  • Networking with other organisations in your field (Cercle de la collecte internationale: training courses, annual meeting, etc.).

4 local partners to give you access to international philanthropy

A centralised European network:
Transnational Giving Europe (TGE)

Created in 1995 by Fondation de France and three European players, this partner network is now present in 19 countries. TGE facilitates cross-border donations by guaranteeing compliance with national legislation and enabling donors to benefit from the tax advantages offered by their own jurisdictions.

Friends of Fondation de France

Established in the USA over 25 years ago, Friends of Fondation de France is an American not-for-profit organisation with 501c3 status, enabling any donor - individual, foundation or company - residing in the United States to support any French charity or project of general interest while taking advantage of the American tax framework.

Fondation de France Asia

Created in 2023, Fondation de France Asia is located in Hong Kong at the heart of Asia's philanthropic hub, where the exponential increase in wealth on this continent is accompanied by a strong desire to help others. Individual and corporate donors can benefit from tax deductions on their donations, in accordance with Hong Kong law. On specific request, Fondation de France can also support your fundraising projects in other Asian countries.

Fondation de France UK

Currently in the process of being registered with the Charity Commission, Fondation de France UK will be a local, independent organisation supporting projects of general interest in accordance with the criteria set out in the Charities Act 2011. Operating autonomously, it will promote a wide range of innovative Franco-British initiatives and enable donors to benefit from local tax deductions (including Gift Aid).
