Our actions
The Fondation de France works to prevent conflicts, facilitate dialogue between various local groups and encourage the joint management of fragile areas. The priorities are:
-
01
Urban and rural areas: there is a wide range of challenges. For example, enabling locals to live together in harmony, avoiding rockslides in mountainous areas, or protecting remarkable trees in a timber forest.
-
02
The coastline: everyone should work to protect this particularly fragile area. The projects that are supported aim primarily to preserve oceanic biodiversity through a participative approach, such as a project that calls on coastal stakeholders to participate in a sea turtle census and implement practices that are less harmful to them.
