Other foundations involved in the environment

Environment has rapidly become one of the most important concerns of globalized societies. The complexity and interaction of the challenges—economic, ecological, technological, cultural, etc.—is such that founders’ attention to these issues is rapidly growing. Rooted in civil society, foundations are naturally interested in the education and concrete actions from citizens on their environment, but they also care about technological advances, independent research, the future of biodiversity, the health and social consequences of ecosystem degradation, and climate change.
