Giving, or receiving, from Europe and the U.S.
You are a donor
You are a tax resident of Europe
You can make a donation to a French organisation from outside France, or from France to a foreign organisation, thanks to Transnational Giving Europe (TGE), a network of Fondation de France partners in 21 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
You are a tax resident of the United States
You can make a donation to a French organisation through Friends of Fondation de France, whose U.S. legal status as a public charity means that your gift receives the most advantageous tax-deduction treatment.
You are an association
If you are a French association, school, or museum, you can raise funds in 21 European countries through Transnational Giving Europe (TGE) and in the U.S. through Friends of Fondation de France. These partnerships guarantee your donors –be they foreign individuals, French citizens living abroad, businesses, or even charitable foundations-- secure transactions and the appropriate tax-deduction benefits in the country where they are tax residents, with no need for you to set up a foreign branch office.
