Charitable giving from abroad
If you are a tax resident of Europe or the United States, you can donate to a French charity through the Fondation de France’s partner network.
The 18 members of Transnational Giving Europe are: Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Spain, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland.
Send your donation to the network’s member foundation in your country; it will send you a tax receipt and will transfer your donation to the French charity of your choice via the Fondation de France.
If you are a tax resident of the United States, you can contact Friends of Fondation de France, which is authorized to issue the most advantageous local tax receipts.
Receiving donations from abroad
If you are a French charity, school or museum, you can raise funds in Europe and the United States. The Fondation de France has developed partnerships in Europe and the United States to help French organizations receive donations from foreign philanthropists.
Guarantee your foreign philanthropists a secure transaction while they benefit from income tax deductions in their home countries: the Fondation de France has established reciprocity agreements with 16 European countries and the United States in order to enable fundraising among expatriates, companies or foundations, without having to establish any foreign subsidiaries.
