The Fondation de France has supported high-level research and the training of researchers for several years. The ever more specialized nature of research in the medical field makes it necessary to bring together large numbers of experts to work on increasingly in-depth programs.

Projects supported by the Fondation de France concern research on cancers, cardiovascular disease, Parkinson’s disease, ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology and autism. At the request of the research world, funding is more and more frequently provided over periods of several years – to ensure continuity and efficiency.

Grants are allocated to laboratories or teams working in France.
