One of the major events of the past year was the earthquake in Haiti. Through the media, Fondation de France raised public awareness and 33 million euros in aid. These donations were used to work in the field, first for relief work, then for long-term reconstruction.
This year, Fondation de France has raised over 100 million euros for the first time. The funds have been redistributed to over 8,000 subsidies, grants and scholarships thanks to the know-how and involvement of our partners, volunteers and staff. The foundation leaves no stone unturned to meet both community needs and the expectations of donors, who are increasingly demanding in terms of the quality of work and results.
