Creation of 36 funds and foundations under the auspices of Fondation de France Once again this year, most of the creators of new foundations are individuals, not corporations. Of the 36 new funds and foundations created in 2010, 27 were founded by individuals, three by companies, four by other foundations (namely Fondation des Trois Cyprès, Fondation Pierre Rabhi, Fondation Gred’Oil, and Fondation pour un Habitat solidaire), and two by non-profit organisations (namely the Fonds Barreau de Paris Solidarité Haïti and Fondation des promoteurs immobiliers de France).
